There’s plenty to discover at the vintage and bicycle parts market in connection with the Velo Swing Festival: collectors and fans of original vintage clothing and a pair of wheels to match are sure to strike gold. You can also pick up accessories, furniture up to the 1970s, old toys, enamel signs and much more besides.
The vintage and bicycle parts market has become a regular fixture of the festival. Many dealers, some from neighbouring France, have been coming since the beginning and appreciate the market’s growing popularity from year to year. Visitors come from near and far to snag small items of furniture, fashion, accessories, household goods, toys, books, records or grandpa’s transistor radio from the years between 1920 and 1970. The vintage and bicycle parts market is open on Saturday, 10th August, and Sunday, 11th August, from 10 am to 4 pm.
For interested dealers:
You’re interested in selling your stuff at the vintage and bicycle parts market? The basic condition is that the articles date from between 1920 and 1970. No new goods. However, the age restriction doesn’t apply to bicycles. We look forward to attractively decorated, themed stands.
Send an email before 31st July 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org or call up on +49 681 506-6050. Please state what you would like to sell (small items of furniture, bicycles, lamps, etc.). Places are limited and are assigned in the order of registration.
The market takes place in the castle square. This is not roofed over and in fine weather is exposed to the sun all day. Tents and pavilions must be weighted down; it is not permitted to use tent pegs! Cars and transporters may be parked at the stand; however, these do not make for such an attractive backdrop for visitors. You can come on one or both days. There’s someone on watch duty overnight.
The charge is a one-off payment of 5 euros per running metre or part thereof. The stand charge is calculated on the basis of the area/length of space you use. If you keep your car/transporter with you at the stand, this area must be included in the calculation. So please factor it in when calculating and stating the amount of space/length you wish to reserve.
